Join us for a five-week virtual Customized Employment course via Zoom: February 10th through March 17th. This 40-hour training builds knowledge and skills in the ACRE Customized Employment competencies.
Training Schedule Overview:
- Mandatory Orientation: Feb 4th, 9am
- Week 1: Introduction to Customized Employment (CE) and Discovery, including agency history, relevant rights and legislation, Social Security benefits, and the initial stages of Discovery.
- Week 2: Continued focus on Discovery stages, Social Security benefits, and an introduction to job development and negotiation.
- Week 3: Introduction to Systematic Instruction and job support, with a focus on networking visits, task analysis, and the final stages of Discovery.
- Week 4: Job development planning, job analysis, customized employment activities, and opportunities for homework submission and office hours.
- Week 5: Practical application of systematic instruction, final review, and preparation for certification, with certificates issued upon completion.
Participants who complete the entire course will receive a National Certificate of Achievement in Customized Employment Services (Basic Level).

Note: Attendance at all sessions is required for certification.
